Bio
Remi Harris is an NYC-based creative producer, performer, and arts administrator whose work spans movement, sound, research, and immersive technology. She builds interdisciplinary programs, designs artist residencies, and shapes inclusive spaces that amplify diverse voices in performance.
Her work has been presented at Abrons Arts Center, Brooklyn Studios for Dance, Danspace Project, Teatro LATEA, Triskelion Arts, Judson Church, The Mark O'Donnell Theater, The Brick Theater, Thalian Hall, BAAD!, BAX, CPR – Center for Performance Research, Dancewave, Dance Theater Workshop (now New York Live Arts), and the Cucalorus Film Festival, among others. Most recently, she performed an original composition in the exhibition Meillers Voisins (Neighbors) at CONFORT MENTAL Gallery in Paris, France, with visual artists Tony Ragazzo and Marion Guillet in July 2026.
As a movement artist, she has performed with national and international artists including Racoco/Rx, Sydnie L. Mosley, Christal Brown/INSPIRIT, Katie Workum, Kay Ottinger, Sxip Shirey, Coco Karol, and Okwui Okpokwasili and Peter Born, among others.
Remi is currently Program Manager and Co-Producer at Pioneers Go East Collective, and Co-Program Manager for the NY State Choreographers Initiative. She has held prior roles at HERE Arts Center, CPR – Center for Performance Research, Ballet Hisoanico, ArtsConnection, and Brooklyn Studios for Dance, curating artistic programs and providing developmental support to artists across disciplines.
She is currently working as the creative producer for the upcoming NYC premiere of icchā by barkha patel at Tribeca Performing Arts Center in September 2026.
Born in Barbados and raised in Brooklyn, Remi remains deeply connected to her roots. She believes in the power of art to build empathy and drive social change by being committed to expanding access to the arts, using both her institutional and independent producing work to create spaces that foster genuine connection and community.
